No 1 – Graciosa Beach (Playa de Las Conchas – Shell Beach)


The islet of Graciosa has the best beaches at Lanzarote. Every beach in this small island seems is better than the other. The island’s many beaches include Playa Francesa on the southwest, Playa de la Cocina on its west coast, Playa Lambra to the east, and the magnificent and crowning glory and most famous beach the Playa de las Conchas on the far side of the islet.


Graciosa Beach


For reaching Graciosa ferries are available from the North part of Lanzarote from Orzola on an hourly basis.

The untouched beauty, lovely landscape and the Panoramic Skies with changing sky colour based on the time of the day will mesmerize you and make a permanent place in your heart for this beach and island.

The whole island is devoid of private vehicles and has natural roads. It is truly heaven on earth.


No 2 – Famara Beach


It is a great beach for all sorts of Water Sports and Wind Surfing. It is A 6 kms long natural beach.
The beach being so long has a portion with low tide and calm sea making it an ideal place for swimming. At the other end the beach however can be windy and the sea a bit rough more suitable for Adventure water sports rather than for a family swim.

Most important is that the beach is so long that almost every person can spend time isolated from the others.




No 3 – Papagayo


Regularly voted as amongst the best beaches in Europe. This beach is located in a protected UNESCO´s natural Biosphere area. Located within the Natural Park of Ajaches. The surrounding of the beach is quite picturescue. Papagayo is located at the Southern tip of Lanzarote where the Sun´s glare is the most. This is a beach which provides a fun filled Sunny Holiday for the full family.

There is a € 3 charge per vehicle for entry. The beach is relatively small in size 120 meters in length and about 15 meters in width. The beach has fine white sand and calm waters.





Close to the beach are a number of 5 star and 4 star Hotels.

There is a catamaran service which also plies and brings in tourists from other parts of the island to spend the day at the beach.


No 4 – Playa Honda, San Bartolome


Playa Honda is amongst the longest natural beach at Lanzarote. It is almost 2 kms long (1.25 Miles). A small portion of the beach area is reserved for “Nudists”. Popularly known Shark Beach. The full streach of the beach is suitable for swimming as well as Surfing supported by the wind.






The beach offers all sorts of facilities such as Restaurants, Car Park, Shower etc. The beach front is great to stroll and for family beach games. Due to the large beach size all sorts of Beach and Water sports are available on offer.

The area close to Playa Honda is a shopper´s paradise with one of the biggest Shopping Malls Deiland located.


No 5 – Reducto Beach, Arrecife.


Reducto Beach at Arrecife is the best beach at the Capital city. Amazingly serene despite being so close to the city centre. The beach has smooth Golden sand and calm waters for the whole family to enjoy a great swim or laze around under the sun.

The beach boasts of a BLUE FLAG the highest rating granted to any beach in the World. The beach spans about 500 Meters (0. 3 Miles) and is about 45 meters in width (49 Yards).



Arrecife Playa


The beach is well prepared in all sort of ways. It has the facility of renting Sun Beds and Umbrellas. It has both Toilets and Bathing facilities.

There are a number of Restaurants, Bars in the vicinity to cater to all your needs. In the neighbourhood there is ample covered as well as open car parking area.

The beach is well connected through public transport too such as Taxi´s and city buses.

The City´s only 5 star hotel Gran Arrecife is located bang next to the beach.
